About

M*A*S*H

Terry has advised Fortune 500 executives on security issues, acted in two high school plays, run four marathons, worked as a garbage collector in Yellowstone National Park, participated in secret U.S. military programs, trained in the Peace Corps, reported for his junior high school newspaper, been issued a U.S. patent, raced at Daytona, operated rides at Disneyland, written short plays that have been produced on all sides of the Mississippi, authored three books, been a contributing editor for American Express and MSNBC, earned a doctorate in psychology from Iowa State University, won a waltz contest, and was Bachelor Number Two on The Dating Game. (He lost.)

Upon retirement and with the encouragement—okay, with the understanding—of his wife, Terry acquired a 1941 military ambulance. (Think MASH.) As part of maintaining that "hobby," he enrolled in a welding course at a local community college. That was it. He was hooked. Like the Catalan sculptor, Joan Miró, he discovered that he enjoyed the process of sticking together metal scrap in ways that are unusual, conversational and visually appealing. He hopes you enjoy the results.
